Conventional cotton wool and cotton rounds are made of a natural resource but are not as environmentally friendly as you might think. They take around 20,000 litres of water to produce 1kg of cotton and they are treated with bleach, making them so they aren't as biodegradable as they appear.

These reusable cleanings pads are made from 100% organic cotton. They are so soft and ideal for those will delicate and sensitive skin. They are perfect for cleanings, toning, and removing makeup. They are handmade by me, a trained seamstress who loves to sew!

And the best part is that they are reusable, so throw them in the washing machine with the rest of your laundry and use them over and over!

WHY SQUARE AND NOT ROUND?

Creating round pads means waste has to be cut off to create the ideal shape. Keeping the pads square uses as much fabric as possible. I also find the corners very useful when taking off eye make up and getting a close edge to your eye.

 ALL THE BEST BITS

  • Made from 100% organic cotton
  • Pack of 7 (one for each day of the week)
  • Size: Approx 9cm x 9cm.
  • Larger than cotton rounds.
  • Reusable
  • Machine Washable

LOVE AND CARE

When it's time to give them a wash, throw them in the machine and washed at 30c.

PLEASE NOTE: These are made from organic cotton and the thread is polycotton. I am in the process of sourcing reliable cotton thread that doesn't break easily in my machine. Until I find the right thread, I'll be using the polycotton thread I already have in stock. It's all about using what you have. These bags are home compostable at the end of their lives (which will be a long time from now!). Just remove the thread first, cut up and chuck them in!
